MCB Studio & Headquarters
Miami City Ballet and Miami City Ballet School are housed in the Ophelia & Juan Js. Roca Center — an extraordinary 63,000 sq. ft. facility built with dancers’ needs in mind. Each of the eight spacious, sunlit studios has marley-covered, sprung floors.
Two of the studios convert into the 200-seat Lynn & Louis Wolfson, II Theater where the Company performs twice a year in the Open Barre series, and the School holds its annual performances in the spring. Other on-site amenities include physical therapy and massage rooms, a dancers’ lounge, students’ lounge, workout room, and dressing rooms.
The building also houses MCB’s administrative offices. Located in beautiful Miami Beach, the stunning space was designed by Arquitectonica and inaugurated in 2001.
