Membership FAQs

How is a membership different from a subscription?

Premium subscriptions offer the added benefit of securing the same seats each year when you renew, while getting first access to change your seats before tickets are released to the public. A membership allows you to book from the best available seats in your membership zone when it is convenient for you.

How do I verify my age eligibility for my membership?

Some memberships such as $25 Under 25 and Barre Society require age verification. Click here to verify your eligibility in two easy steps.

  1. Fill out the form including your email, first and last name, and your company or school. Click Continue.
  2. Upload an image or PDF of a valid ID.

Once your file has been successfully uploaded, you may close the window.

You will receive an email confirmation from audienceservices@miamicityballet.org once your eligibility has been approved and your membership is active.

Can I use my membership for any performance?

Memberships are valid for all main season performances at the Arsht Center. Select memberships include access to our seasonal presentation of The Nutcracker, please check your membership benefits to see if your membership is eligible for Nutcracker booking.

Membership cannot be used for MCB School year-end performances.

When and how do I redeem tickets?

Membership tickets must be redeemed at least 72 hours before the performance you plan to attend.

Tickets can only be redeemed online through your MCB account. Click here to log into your MCB account and select the performance you want to book for. Select seats within your membership zone and then “checkout” to complete your order.

If your zone is sold out, you’ll get access to the next best available section.

Tickets cannot be redeemed at the venue.

Are seats held for members?

Due to high demand for our productions we do not hold seats for member or subscriber redemption once our single tickets go on sale. However, members do receive early access for newly added performances.

We recommend booking early for the best options.

Where can I sit with my membership?

Each membership gives you access to a specific seating zone — plus any zones further from the stage (i.e., lower price points). When booking, be sure to select seats within your eligible zones:

Corporate Memberships (Premium & Plus)

  • Access Front Orchestra and any zones behind it.

On Pointe Membership

  • Access Rear Orchestra Circle, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.

Barre Society Membership (ages 26–40)

  • Access Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.

Student Membership (ages 18–25)

  • Access Tier 3 and Tier 4 only.

You’ll only see your member pricing when selecting seats in these eligible zones.

What if my membership zone is sold out?

You’ll still have access to the next best available zone or section with open seats.

Can I use my membership at other venues?

Currently, during this inaugural year, memberships are only valid for performances at the Arsht Center. However, we understand that things comp up, if you have already booked your ticket for a performance at the Arsht Center you can call or email an audience service representative and request to have your existing tickets exchanged and moved to the same production at either the Broward Center or Kravis Center. All exchange policies still apply.

Can I purchase more than one membership?

No, due to the limited number of memberships available, each person may purchase one membership per season. If you purchased a membership and wish to upgrade your membership to a different level, please contact a member of the Audience Services team or assistance.

When does my membership expire? Can I renew my membership?

All membership benefits expire on May 1, 2026.

Any unused benefits or tickets are not transferable to the following season productions.

Memberships are a pilot program this season. We’ll contact you in summer 2026 about renewing or upgrading to a subscription.
