Winter Mix

Feb 14 - Mar 9, 2025
Walpurgisnacht Ballet (Balanchine/Gounod)
World Premiere of Coincident Dances (Tanowitz/Montgomery)
La Valse (Balanchine/Ravel)

This event has ended.

This winter, three extraordinary ballets take the stage—two Balanchine masterpieces and a bold new work from one of today’s most exciting choreographers.

Walpurgisnacht Ballet brings a whirlwind of energy as two dozen powerhouse women take the stage in a dazzling display of strength and speed. Originally created for the opera Faust, this piece is Balanchine at his most exhilarating.

La Valse, celebrating 20 years in our repertoire, is haunting and hypnotic—a decaying waltz that unravels into dark mystery, set to Maurice Ravel’s mesmerizing score.

And making its world premiere, Coincident Dances by award-winning choreographer Pam Tanowitz reinvents the rules of ballet. Known for her playful unpredictability and masterful blend of past and present, Tanowitz pushes the boundaries of dance in ways both thrilling and unexpected.

Three breathtaking ballets, one unforgettable night.
