Government & Foundation Partners

Miami City Ballet is grateful for the support of our foundation and government partners, whose generous funding fortifies the breadth of our mission to produce and present the highest level of dance performances throughout Florida and the United States. Grant funding allows us to advance artistic excellence in classical ballet, deepen our commitment to holistic dance education, and eliminate barriers to the arts for thousands of community members at every level of arts exploration.

Major funding is provided by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Arison Arts Foundation.

Government funding is provided by: Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners; Board of County Commissioners, the Tourist Development Council and the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County; Broward County Board of County Commissioners of Broward County, Florida, as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council; State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts; The Children’s Trust, a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County by making strategic investments in their future; and the City of Miami Beach Department of Tourism and Culture, Cultural Arts Council, and the Miami Beach Mayor and City Commissioners.
