Apollo Society
LEAVE A LEGACY, CREATE YOUR LEGACY
A thriving community is defined by its vibrant cultural life.
In 1985, visionaries Toby Lerner Ansin and Edward Villella set out to transform South Florida’s cultural landscape. With passion and purpose, they turned a dream into reality—founding a world-class ballet company with just 11 dancers.
Today, Miami City Ballet is a cornerstone of the arts, with over 50 dancers, an internationally acclaimed school, and groundbreaking community programs that make ballet more accessible than ever.
What began as a dream is now a living legacy—and you can be part of it.
Named after Balanchine’s oldest masterpiece, Apollo, first performed by MCB in 1987, the Apollo Society unites those who believe in the power of dance to bring communities together. By including Miami City Ballet in your estate plan, you help reimagine the classics, bring new works to life, and train the next generation of dancers. You support youth development and expand access to the arts for children and families.
Join us in shaping the future of ballet. Your legacy starts today.
