Rachel Collett
Rachel Collett grew up in Glendora, California and began her ballet training at Inland Pacific Ballet. At 15, she continued on to the Colburn School in Los Angeles before moving to New York to train at the School of American Ballet. In 2022, she decided to continue her training on scholarship at the Miami City Ballet School. Rachel also had the privilege of attending the Chautauqua Institution summer program in 2024. While there, she performed lead roles in several ballets, including “Tall Girl” from Balanchine’s Rubies.
During her time with MCBS, Rachel performed in George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments as well as numerous ballets by Durante Verzola. As a student, she was given many opportunities to perform with the company in ballets by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Alexei Ratmansky. In 2025 she was offered an apprenticeship with the company and joined the Corps de Ballet in 2026.
