Maddie Goodman
Hometown: New Bern, North Carolina
Maddie Goodman was born in New Bern, NC and began her ballet training at New Bern Ballet with Laura Karmi and Leslie Fields. Her early training was supplemented by attending summer programs at The Rock School in Philadelphia and The School of American Ballet in New York City. Maddie then joined the Advanced Level of the Professional Training Program at Cary Ballet Conservatory in Cary, North Carolina, where she was trained by Mariaelena Ruiz and Heather Iler. While at Cary Ballet Conservatory, Maddie attended national and international competitions: YoungArts (Ballet Winner 2017), Jackson International Ballet Competition 2018 (Junior Competitor), Youth America Grand Prix (Finalist 2017, 2018), and American Dance Competition International Ballet Competition (2018 Silver Medalist).
Maddie has studied with BalletMet in the Trainee Program where she has had the opportunity to dance with BalletMet Company (The Nutcracker and Don Quixote) as well as perform lead roles in the Trainee Program productions (La Bayadère and Serenade).
Maddie joined MCB as a corps de ballet dancer in 2019.
