Lazaro Corrales
Lazaro Antonio Corrales is a Canadian ballet dancer who trained at Ecole Superieure de Ballet du Quebec, Norwegian National Ballet School, and the Royal Ballet School in London, where he graduated from the Upper School in 2020.
In 2021, he joined the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen, where he has performed an extensive repertoire spanning classical and contemporary works. His roles include Benno and the Jester in Swan Lake, Gurn in La Sylphide, roles in The Nutcracker, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, and Jewels, as well as Manon, Askepot, Kermessen i Brugge, Heartcore, and Verklärte Nacht. He has worked with choreographers including George Balanchine, Kenneth MacMillan, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Alexander Ekman, and Gregory Dean.
His professional experience has also included performances with The Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, and Norwegian National Ballet.
Corrales is a recipient of multiple awards from the Youth America Grand Prix, including second place at the 2015 and 2017 Finals in New York and first place at the 2013 Semi-Finals.
He joined Miami City Ballet as a corps de ballet member in 2026.
