Corps de Ballet

Isabelle Lapierre

Isabelle Lapierre, originally from Columbus, Ohio, began her training at BalletMet. At 14, she was invited to join The School of American Ballet’s Advanced Division.

Upon graduation from SAB, Isabelle joined Miami City Ballet School, under direction of Arantxa Ochoa, for a post-graduate year where she performed with the company in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and Symphony in Three Movements. With MCBS, Isabelle danced the Sanguinic Pas de Deux, and 2nd Theme from Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, and several ballets by Durante Verzola.

In 2023, she joined Ballet Austin’s Second Company, dancing as Gamzatti and works by Stephen Mills.

Isabelle went on to spend two seasons with Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company, performing with the company in Giselle, The Nutcracker, Septime Webre’s The Great Gatsby, and Swan Lake, as well as contemporary works with CB2. While in Cincinnati, she also trained extensively with former San Francisco Ballet and Miami City Ballet principal dancer, Carlos Quenedit.

Her summer training includes the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet Program, under Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, as well as Royal Danish Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Académie Princesse Grace, and American Ballet Theatre.

Isabelle is thrilled to return to Miami City Ballet and begin her professional career with the company. She is grateful to return to Miami, a place that felt like home since her time with Miami City Ballet School, and is excited to begin this next chapter.
