Set to a haunting remix of Dinah Washington’s soulful ballad and Max Richter’s On the Nature of Daylight, This Bitter Earth is a poignant pas de deux that explores love, loss, and memory. With sweeping movement and moments of suspended stillness, Christopher Wheeldon crafts an intimate, emotionally charged work that lingers with quiet power and poetic beauty.
