New Storybook Ballet Bundle Brings Together George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Swan Lake
12 Days of Christmas-in-July Promotion Features Limited-Time Offers Across the 2026–27 Season

Beginning July 10, tickets for George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® go on sale to the public, launching a Christmas-in-July celebration that also includes the debut of the new Storybook Ballet Bundle and a series of limited-time offers across the company’s spectacular 2026–27 season.
Led by Artistic Director Gonzalo Garcia and newly appointed Executive Director Scott Altman, MCB’s 2026–27 season offers audiences an unforgettable year of world-class dance, blockbuster storytelling, beloved classics, dazzling premieres, and extraordinary artistry. From the holiday enchantment of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® to the company premiere of Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the triumphant return of Alexei Ratmansky’s Swan Lake, and thrilling mixed repertory programs featuring world premieres by Patricia Delgado and Tiler Peck, the season invites audiences to experience Miami City Ballet throughout the season, from October through May.
New this season, MCB is introducing the Storybook Ballet Bundle, a curated subscription package designed for audiences who love ballet’s most iconic stories. The bundle includes three of the season’s biggest productions: George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Alexei Ratmansky’s Swan Lake. As the only subscription package that includes George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, the Storybook Ballet Bundle offers subscriber benefits including flexible exchanges, savings on additional tickets, and invitations to exclusive events. Packages start at $267.

MCB’s Christmas-in-July continues with 12 Days of Christmas in July, a series of limited-time offers beginning July 14 featuring four productions from the 2026–27 season. Throughout the promotion, audiences can take advantage of special offers on the mixed repertory programs American Rhythms and Icons & Innovators, as well as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Swan Lake. The campaign concludes July 26 with waived ticket fees on all performances and subscriptions.

MCB’s 2026–27 season begins with American Rhythms, an exhilarating celebration of bold choreography, musical innovation, and unmistakable American style. Launching Garcia’s first fully programmed season, the program features George Balanchine’s brilliant Allegro Brillante, a world premiere by former MCB principal and Miami native, Tony Award-winner Patricia Delgado, created with Grammy Award-winning Miami artist Emily Estefan, and the company premiere of Jerome Robbins’ electrifying N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz.
The holiday season brings the return of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Miami City Ballet’s beloved annual tradition. Filled with wonder, unforgettable music, spectacular dancing, timeless charm, and Miami’s distinctive color and joy, this treasured production continues to create memories for generations of families while delighting first-time audiences every season.
The adventure continues with Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, making its long-awaited Miami City Ballet debut. Overflowing with imagination, theatrical spectacle, unforgettable characters, breathtaking choreography, and visual surprises around every corner, Alice promises an experience unlike anything else on South Florida stages.
Spring celebrates ballet’s past, present, and future with Icons & Innovators, a dynamic program pairing George Balanchine’s majestic Tschaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 2 with a world premiere by New York City Ballet Principal Dancer and choreographer Tiler Peck and Justin Peck’s exhilarating Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes. Together, the three works showcase the artistry, athleticism, and creative spirit that continue to define Miami City Ballet.
The season culminates with the triumphant return of Alexei Ratmansky’s Swan Lake, a sweeping masterpiece of romance, drama, and breathtaking beauty. Performed with a live orchestra and more than fifty dancers onstage, this acclaimed production has become one of the defining works of Miami City Ballet’s repertory.
